Because ‘Kono Danshi, Mahou ga Oshigoto Desu.’ has a lot of potential, is on this list. Shounen-ai fans really appreciate the characters, even more so than the story itself. Due to its plot and characters, the manga version has a large following; however, the anime version could be much better. It’s hard to get to know the characters because each episode is so short and there are only four of them. But if you’re just looking for a quick dose of shounen-ai, this is a great option. In the novel ‘Kono Danshi, Mahou ga Oshigoto Desu.’ there is a fantastic theme.
Hero Chiharu Kashima is a magician. He’s a pretty good magician. Chiharu is a regular at the pub she likes. Toyohi Utsumi, a man who is passionate about magic, approaches her one day and tells her about it. To Chiharu later, he tells her he loves her. They became closer and spent more time together as time went on. Chiharu, on the other hand, fears that Toyohi is only attracted to her because of her magical abilities. Patalliro! (1982 – 1983)

Then Jack came and seduced her with his love of attractive men and his knowledge of the art of seduction. The kingdom of Malynera and the titular protagonist’s hilarious accidents are the main focus of the series.

‘Xiao Lu He Xiao Lan,’ like most Chinese anime, is a Net Animation Original, which means it is available for viewing online via a ‘live to stream’ model. Many shounen-ai fans may be scared off by the fact that the series spans over 70 episodes, although the plot and characters are quite decent to watch. The short episode of ‘Xiao Lu He Xiao Lan’, like other Chinese anime, is only 8 minutes long. There are many different subjects that the anime series touches on, including computer games, science fiction, drama, and magic.
I’m not a big fan of Chinese anime, but the premise of this show piqued my curiosity. Each episode takes place in a different location, making them a unique type of animation. Sometimes the episodes are serious, while at other times, they are infused with a mystical element. Sapphire and Beryl kept seeing each other all the time, but that was the only constant. They can be best friends one moment and sworn enemies the next. Slice-of-life anime has lots of cute stories, but the way the story is concluded takes it to a whole new level.
The world’s first love (2011)
In 2006, the book that inspired the film “Sekaiichi Hatsuko” was printed. This manga has been adapted into four anime series. An Original Video Animation (OVA) is one of three anime series. Ritsu Onodera and Masamune Takano are the central figures of this event. His father’s publishing company hires Ritsu as editor. People still assume he has a job because his father is the owner despite the fact that he is very good at what he does at work. When he couldn’t stand the jealousy of his co-workers anymore, he chose to leave his job and join a new publishing business to prove his worth.
Interested in working in the literature department, he applies to the publishing company Marukawa. A job in literature is given, but instead he is assigned to work in the shoujo manga department. To maintain his pride after being called “useless” by his employer, Ritsu decides to continue at Masamune Takano’s company. Masamune later found out that Ritsu was a former classmate who confessed to him. Reunited, Masamune vows to make Ritsu fall in love with him again, as Ritsu became indecisive about love after being heartbroken in his high school days. Funimation is where you can watch the series.
Hybrid Child (2014 – 2015)
Based on the manga series of the same name, ‘Hybrid Child’ is an OVA. It’s a great introduction to the shounen-ai genre in a small package. Each OVA episode is about 25 minutes long. Having a solid premise and well-developed characters are the best parts of this series. If you’re new to this type of anime, you may be tempted to watch a lot of shows that use cheap tricks to pique your interest, such as making content visually vulgar or inserting cheesy jokes.
Artificial beings and their creators are the focus of three romantic stories that appear in the anime. Kuroda is an accomplished artist. He creates a series of dolls called Hybrid Childs, which are neither machines nor humans. These dolls are not only capable of feeling human emotions but also need them to grow. One story centers around Kotarou Izumi, a noble who brings home an abandoned Hybrid Child. None of his family members supported his decision and tried every possible way to get rid of the fake person. The human-doll love prevails as Kotarou tries hard to overcome the challenges he faces. However, the realization that hybrid dolls have a limited lifespan changes everything.

After that, they confessed to feeling desire for each other and started a sexual relationship, but one of them was rejected, so they stopped talking for months. After that, they date to talk and eventually make up and admit that they love each other.

This is an anime and manga short series that tells the story of two men who meet again at a school reunion. Meeting each other after a long time brings back old feelings from high school.

But one day he ends up starring in a TV commercial, the sequel to a commercial Izumi starred in 10 years earlier, dressed as a girl, where he reunites with Ichijou Ryouma, a very popular young actor, who starred with Izumi in the commercial, and falls in love with Izumi thought of her as a girl. but then, even when Ryouma finds out that Izumi is a boy, his feelings don’t change.

In ‘Junjou Romantica,’ the stories of three couples intertwine. Misaki Takahashi, the main character, is an ordinary high school student. This leads Misaki to believe that she can take a break from studying when she turns to him for help. However, everything turned out differently. Misaki finds Akihiko’s story dirty at first, but he soon discovers his mischievous side.
Professor Hiroki Kamijou and pediatrician Nowaki Kusama, and professors You Miyagi and Shinobu Takatsuki, are the other two couples. Professor Hiroki has won Nowaki’s heart, and he is determined to do anything to make her happy. Finally, Haru agrees to live in Japan after high school graduation with Ren. Haru, on the other hand, gets into an accident and has no memory of his past. When Ren returns to Japan years later to fulfill Haru’s promise, he is completely unknown to the Japanese. A taboo bond develops between the two characters as the story progresses. Because ‘Kono Danshi, Mahou ga Oshigoto Desu.’ has a lot of potential, is on this list. Shounen-ai fans really appreciate the characters, even more so than the story itself. Due to its plot and characters, the manga version has a large following; however, the anime version could be much better. It’s hard to get to know the characters because each episode is so short and there are only four of them. But if you’re just looking for a quick dose of shounen-ai, this is a great option. In the novel ‘Kono Danshi, Mahou ga Oshigoto Desu.’ there is a fantastic theme.
Hero Chiharu Kashima is a magician. He’s a pretty good magician. Chiharu is a regular at the pub she likes. Toyohi Utsumi, a man who is passionate about magic, approaches her one day and tells her about it. To Chiharu later, he tells her he loves her. They became closer and spent more time together as time went on. Chiharu, on the other hand, fears that Toyohi is only attracted to her because of her magical abilities. Love Stage!! (2014)
‘Love stage!!’ is a rom-com anime based on the shounen-ai manga of the same name. There are ten episodes in total, each about 23 minutes long.
